Executive Chef Zack Renner has been with the Noble Food & Pursuits group since 2007 and has quickly grown from line cook to the head chef of the Uptown Rooster's location through his passion for food, education and for the company.

How long have you been at Rooster's Uptown?
One year, but I've worked for the company for almost 8 years and have worked out of all of the locations.
Favorite Rooster's memory?
Working for the company as long as I have, it's hard to have a favorite memory. What I think about the most is and what is special to me is seeing how far I have come since my first days working with the company.
What is the most inspiring part of your job?
It delights me to see so many of my colleagues and people I have worked with becoming leaders and managers within the company.
Favorite food item you make at Rooster's?
The chicken! We also have a new take on a pork fried rice dish that I've been eating everyday.
Favorite thing about working with Jim Noble?
My favorite things about working with Jim are how he gives back to the community, his dedication to being a part of each restaurant, and his passion for food.
Where will we find you on the weekend?
You can find me with my son, exploring Charlotte and all of its neighborhoods.
